What We'll Cover

Practical decisions independent owners can act on before the calendar flips.

1
Building a one-page 2027 growth plan live β€” goals, levers, and the numbers that anchor them
2
Choosing your growth path: more clients, higher value per visit, or added services
3
Setting realistic revenue and capacity targets against 2026 actuals
4
The three or four initiatives worth committing to β€” and the discipline to say no to the rest
5
Turning the plan into weekly action so it doesn't die in January
About This Session

Walk in with an idea. Walk out with a plan.

Join the Veterinary Business Institute for a practical panel on the 2027 growth plan workshop β€” build your practice's plan live on this panel. Most owners end the year with big ambitions and no page to point at; by January the ambition is buried under the schedule and nothing changes.

Four experts β€” a longtime companion-animal practice owner and past College of Veterinarians of Ontario president, a 25-year vet and pet services leader across ownership, regional operations, and sales, a 30-year CVPM management consultant and founder of Mistress of Management, and a 40-year practice owner, AVA Veterinary Business Thought Leader 2022, and international speaker who coaches vets through practice start-ups and acquisitions β€” walk through building a one-page 2027 plan live and the discipline to make it stick past January.

This Panel Is For You If...

  • You want to head into 2027 with a real plan, not a wish list
  • You're not sure which growth lever to pull β€” more clients, higher visit value, or new services
  • Your 2026 revenue and capacity numbers haven't yet been turned into 2027 targets
  • You keep committing to too many initiatives and finishing few of them
  • Every January the plan quietly dies under the daily schedule
