A 1983 Texas A&M graduate, she returned to dental specialty practice in 2014 and is the author/co-author of three dental texts, including the second edition of Wiggs's Veterinary Dentistry: Principles and Practice. She has written and lectured internationally on dentistry and senior-pet care, and contributed to the 2023 AAHA Senior Care Guidelines for Dogs and Cats.
